Research Interest:

The research interest of Wei’s lab is focused on the molecular mechanisms underlying brain injury (ischemic or traumatic brain injury) as well as the therapeutic agents. They are also interested in the roles of cysteinyl leukotrienes and their receptors in the pathophysiology of the central nervous system, and in identifying targets and leading compouds to develop therapeutic strategies for treating ischemic brain diseases.
