May 6, 2015 | 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. 综合楼307 | Dr. Scott – Assistant Professor of Pharmacology, University of Virginia Lecture on theNeuronal Circuitry Controlling Food-Seeking Behavior. In this lecture, Dr. Scott will discuss: 1) the neuronal circuitry regulating the homeostatic and hedonic control of feeding and 2) behavioral tasks used to assess the drive to consume both drug and natural reward. Several cutting-edge technologies will be introduced that are currently being applied to the investigation of feeding control circuitry. One participant will be asked to volunteer to present an assigned article; the article and background reading will be distributed before the class. |
