The 3rd International Workshop on Human Brain Banking in China' on May 25-27, 2018 in Hangzhou, China. This meeting is sponsored by Chinese Society for Anatomical Science (CSAS) and Zhejiang University School of Medicine.
This workshop will be the third in a series, following the successful accomplishment of the first and the second ‘International Workshop on Human Brain Banking in China’ in 2014 and 2016, respectively, when China human brain banking was initiated and the China Human Brain Banking Consortium was founded. This meeting will be a great opportunity to meet with colleagues in this field from all over the world and share the latest development in human brain banking and related human brain research.
China is still far away from the western countries in the development of human brain banking, and these meetings help to establish a network of brain banks in China in close collaboration with brain banks in the West. In addition to a series of seminars, we will provide a training workshop on the standard operational protocol of human brain banking, giving attention e.g. to quality control including neuropathological diagnosis. We would appreciate your expert contribution to support our effort to advance this frontier.
