Model:IC nanoS2
Specifications:
Real-time cell surface high-resolution imaging (20-100 nm).
Main applications:
Non-contact high-resolution imaging of living cells and their surface micro-structures under physiological condition can be coupled with laser confocal microscopy or patch-clamp to study the relationship between cell morphology and its function; SICM is also able to control the deposition of specific molecules and to operate in nanometer-scale. It is currently used to study synaptic structure of neurons, cell invasion of virus, myocardial cell remodeling, internalization of G protein-coupled receptors, tight junctions of cells and so on.
