The award ceremony of the 12th China L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Award was held on December 22. The event was jointly held by the All-China Women’s Federation (ACWF), China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), the Commission of China for UNESCO and L’Oréal China. This program recognizes the achievements and contributions of exceptional females across the globe. Prof. Hu Hailan from the Center of Neuroscience at Zhejiang University won this honor for her remarkable achievements in research into molecular and neural mechanisms for emotions and social behavior.
