To achieve a better understanding of the Zhejiang University School of Basic Medical Sciences (ZJU-BMS), meanwhile, to recruit more excellent postgraduate students, ZJU-BMS held the Summer camp 2015 on July 21^stin the lecture theatre of research annex building. A good number of activities had been scheduled during the summer camp, including the opening ceremony, institution promotion, university and hangzhou tours, and the communication with PIs. The associate dean of ZJU-school of medical Xiaoming Li, the executive dean of ZJU-BMS Hongwei Ouyang, the associate dean of ZJU-BMS Yuehai Ke, the Secretary of BMS-Party CommitteeJimin Shao and people in charge of corresponding departments attended the opening ceremony and gave the camping students their warmest welcome.

In the afternoon, the neuroscience sub-camp gathered in the lecture theatre, and listened to the talks given by more than 20 PIs. Using their unique ways, the PIs introduced their own research interests and showed their joyfulness in seeing the growing number of neuroscience candidates. The students were later led to the core facility platform and the laboratories, and experienced the art of neuroscience in a more intimate way.

Ignoring the distractive rain popped up during the event, the students showed great enthusiasm for the camp and eagerness in having closer attachment with the neuroscience institute. Your future choice in joining the neuroscience institute is sincerely expected and most warmly welcomed!
