2014 Academic Annual Conference Organized by Basic Medical School of Zhejiang University successfully held in Hangzhou

    The 2014 Academic Annual Conference Organized by Basic Medical school of Zhejiang University was held from January 16 to 17, 2015 at Yuanzheng hotel. More than 600 experts and scholars in Zhejiang University and aboard attended this conference. The conference sets 1 plenary session, 14 sessions and 9 group issues, 73 academic reports were discussed and well received by the teachers and students.

    The neuroscience session gave a wonderful show in the conference. Prof. Li Chengyu from Shanghai Institute of Neuroscience of the Chinese academy of sciences, Prof. Guan Jisong from Life Science Academy of Tsinghua University and Prof. Bi Guoqiang from University of Science and Technology of China were invited to deliver academic reports. The recently joined PIs and experienced Professors of the neuroscience institute gave brilliant reports.

    The scope of the reports included synaptic plasticity and neural circuit formation, optical and superfine imaging, emotion, audition, foraging, learning memory, stress and depression. These studies are so rich in content and creativity that teachers and students had a warm response and actively asked questions to the speakers after speech, which impressed the speakers very much. Even closer discussions were carried out between the attendees after the conference. Here we show quicksnaps of the conference moments.
