Excellence Never Ends in 2015 New Year Party

2015 New Year Party of Institute of Neuroscience, Zhejiang University, was successfully hosted in Linshui Lecture Hall, on Jan. 8 2015. With the presence of Dean of Medical School, Professor Shumin Duan, party secretary of Basic Medical College, Professor Jimin Shao, deputy head of faculty of Medicine, Professor Zhong Chen and Vice Dean of Medical School, Professor Xiaomin Li, 2015, the coming new year, was ardently welcomed by the faculty and students of Institute of Neuroscience in the ceremony.

Themed as “2015 we’re coming”, the ceremony aimed to celebrate the achievements we’ve made in 2014, to strengthen connection between students and teachers, and also to find out the talents in performance among us. Thanks to extraordinary shows of various types and with rich contents, such as singing, dancing, recitation and drama, the evening party was permeated with warm and happy atmosphere and full of effusive applause. AfterWelcoming Video, the fire of enthusiasm from the audience was lit by song Hai Kuo Tian Kong given by the Snack Band. Countless surprises were made by Dance In Dark Light; laughter failed to ease thanks to drama We Are All Psychos; persistent pursuit of dream and ardent passion for science were conveyed by recitation Dreaming Future. What is more, the drama, Which Is More Suitable As My Girlfriend, closely connects our real life, and its pinpointing lines touched the very bottom of our hearts. One song, Father, led us back into the past time with our dearest fathers. Not limited to performances above, networking games were also more than attractive. The Return of the Condor Heroes-Imitation Game and Thanks God You Are Here provided valuable platforms to connect teachers and students. “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”, Professor Duan Shumin praised after watching them. Besides, lucky audience was randomly chosen as laureates of First, Second and Third Lucky Prizes respectively. At last, the three-hour ceremony ended with special performance, Seven Swords Back To The World, and song, Friend, both given by seven new principal investigators.

Thanks to effective and efficient cooperation of Student Union of Neuroscience Department, Party Branch of Neuroscience Department and other organizations, the ceremony finally comes to a happy ending, but its excellence continues.
