Animal behavior platform, also named as the Animal Behavior and Neuroscience public technology platform，is set up on the basis of complementary advantages, mutual benefit and  mutual cooperation.

Animal behavior platform, abbreviated to behavioral laboratory, is located in the northeast corner in the second floor of the Laboratory Animal Center. The behavioral lab can meet the researchers on animal behavior testing, such as animal exploration, learning and memory, anxiety and depression, addiction and social activity. Our researchers can perform systematic study of animal cognition and emotion through the platform.

The platform went into operation in May 2013. we purchased a series of  behavior equipments widely used in the world, such as Morris water maze system, fear conditioning, shuttle box, open field, elevated plus maze, forced swimming, tail suspension , radial arm maze, startle response, contextual conditoning and five choice Serial Reaction system. In order to further improve the professional and technical level of the users, we will organize professional knowledge and experimental technical training. The aim is to improve the use efficiency of instruments and expand function of instruments.

We are glad to cooperate with other departments and institutes, and also pleased to offer service for teachers, clinicians and graduates. Our goal is to increase research level of both cooperation parties. Welcome to use these instruments and offer suggestions to run the platform better and improve service efficiency.
