The instrument was purchased from Med Associates. The 5-Choice Serial Reaction Time Task (5-CSRTT) is a method of measuring the visual processesin rats. It has also been used to measure impulsivityin rats, and shows a differential response with atomoxetinecompared to stimulants. The 5-CSRTT uses a 9-hole apparatus that gives the rat a brief 0.5 second visual stimulus, measuring the time and accuracy of the rat's reactions, and categorizing the types of errors made by the rat
