On April 13, ministry of science and technology announced the final result of “innovation talents promotion project (http://www.most.gov.cn/tztg/201304/t20130407_100630.htm). The project has produced a total of 140 young and middle-aged leading science and technology innovation talents, 64 Science and technology innovation of entrepreneurial talents, 46 key areas innovation teams and 18 demonstration base of cultivating creative personnel.Professor Li of our institution wins the young and middle-aged leading science and technology innovation talent.He is one of the total four professors been awarded in our school.The three others are respectively professor Qiu Limin of department of energy, professor Jin Yongfeng of the college of life science and professor Yang Canjun ofmechanics department.

Innovative talents promotion project is under the guidance of the central personnel work coordination group, jointly executed by the ministry of science and technology and the ministry of human resources and social security, the ministry of finance, the ministry of education, Chinese academy of sciences, Chinese academy of engineering, the national natural science fund committee and the China association for science and technology. By optimizing the working policies and strengthening the safeguard measures, the project aims to train and bring up a batch of world-class scientists and leading talents in science and technology.  In addition, the project aims to build a batch of innovative talents demonstration bases to lead multidiscipline talents and improve independent innovations for the country.
